Hu, Leping (1955----) Chinese country artist, famous contemporary artist, was born in Beijing. Since 19-year-old, Mr. Hu was begun taught by Mr. Wangren (Erxia), who is a famous painter in Beijing. Since several years, Mr. Hu’s diligence tireless hard work have helped him won the tradition of excellence essence of Chinese painting, and his painting skill has been fully affirmed by the grand preceptor Mr. Lou Shibai. Mr. Hu is currently the Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Association, the honorary president of American Chinese Art Society, the senior adviser of American Painting and Calligraphy Institute, the executive director of Hu Leping International Center for the Arts; besides, Mr. Hu has served as a visiting professor at Beijing University Institute of Chinese as a Foreign Education, and he taught foreign students Chinese traditional freehand painting more than ten years at Beijing University, and he also by the school and students praise.
Mr. Hu Leping had held several solo exhibitions, group exhibitions with others in China and; he was also to participate in numerous domestic and international contest winners and critically acclaimed; besides, CCTV, Beijing TV and other media had reported about his exhibitions. In addition, Mr. Hu’s biography and works of art were published on newspapers: the "People's Daily (Overseas Edition)", "China Daily", "China Culture Daily", "Beijing Daily", "Science and Technology Daily", "Economic Information Daily", "the State Council Organs Communication", "Beauty China Times "and other. Moreover, Mr. Hu’s art works was elected by China Art Museum held to the Contemporary Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, Beijing University 100th anniversary of the National Invitation Exhibition of painting and calligraphy, 100 anniversary of the founding of Tsinghua book album, the National Invitation Exhibition of Painting and Calligraphy, and he also participated many Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Exchange Exhibitions. Mr. Hu’s art works have been presented as gifts to foreign leaders and widely collected by both domestic and foreign painting lovers. In 2001, which at the International Olympic Committee President Juan Antonio Samaranch 81 birthday, Mr. Hu’s art work was gifted as a national ceremony and was collected by Mr. Samaranch. In June1st though June 4th, 2015, Mr. Hu’s art work "Purple Magnolia" as a country gift, which was handseled by the CPC Central Committee, the Party Secretary of Shanghai Han Zheng led the delegation of the Communist Party of China, for the Germany VIP; in June 16, 2015, art work "Rose" was presented as the country gift to European guests by Beijing Party Secretary Guo Jinlong during the three days friendly visiting in European countries. The project officer of UNDP Resident Representative Ms. Mackinaw wrote in an article entitled "Dan Dreamhunters", “It’s a pleasure to see Mr. Hu paints. When he improvisational drop the ink, the random germinal passion and talent made me fully feel his intentions of the creative works; also, his art full of rhythm and rhyme just the same as music. Sometimes his pen moves significant intoxicated thick, which makes people deeply appreciate the sublimation and changing of the delight of the Chinese freehand painting; when his pen moves with indifferent to the elegant, which makes people awakening during the among of the solemn and quiet of the Zen thought and the peaceful atmosphere.”
